FIND A CATHOLIC CHURCH NEAR YOU!

SUNDAY BEST!

Since we do come to worship and encounter our God in the Holy Mass, certain mode of dress should be followed. Some churches follow a strict dress code while others may not. The common rule for all, however, should be modest nice clothing. You can judge how you are best clothed to see the Lord your God.
Whether you are Catholic or not, the Catholic Church welcomes all to worship with us, hence the name "CATHOLIC". We are the UNIVERSAL CHURCH of JESUS CHRIST. It is for all people.

Pope Paul VI

"The Mass is the most perfect form of prayer!"

"The Mass" is the central public act of WORSHIP in the Catholic Church.
The mass is the highest form of praise, adoration, glorification and thanksgiving to Godhaving as it's center the Real presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
You are welcome to participate in all the songs and prayers offered. Books may be provided in the pews that can help guide you through it.
The only part of the mass that you may not participate in is communion. This is reserved only for those who are in full communion with The Church. When others go up to receive the host (and wine), just remain in the pew, either kneeling or standing.

Graces from Holy Mass
The Holy Mass is Calvary continued.
Every Mass is worth as much as the sacrifice of Our Lord’s life, sufferings and death.
Holy Mass is the most powerful atonement for your sins.
At the hour of death the Masses you have heard will be your greatest consolation.
Every Mass will go with you to judgment and plead for pardon.
At Mass you can diminish more or less temporal punishment due to your sins, according to your fervor.

Assisting devoutly at Holy Mass you render to the Sacred Humanity of Our Lord the greatest homage.
He supplies for many of your negligences and omissions.
He forgives the venial sins which you have not confessed.
The power of Satan over you is diminished.
You afford the souls in Purgatory the greatest possible relief.
One Holy Mass heard during your life will be of more benefit to you than many heard for you after your death.
You are preserved from dangers and misfortunes which otherwise might have befallen you.
You shorten your stay in Purgatory.
Every Mass wins for you a higher degree of glory in Heaven.
You receive the priest’s blessing which Our Lord ratifies in Heaven.
You kneel amidst a multitude of holy angels, who are present at the Adorable Sacrifice with reverential awe.
You are blessed in your temporal goods and affairs.
